This is the entry level position for Well Engineering. Assists in the planning, directing, and coordinating of engineering efforts in production operations. Performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles. Uses some judgment in making preliminary selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives. Learns production metrics and production operations. Under general supervision, assures that producing properties operate at maximum economic rate and comply with governmental, environmental, and contractual requirements. Performs specific and limited portions of assignments. Typical requirements include a degree in Engineering. Certification as an Engineer-in-Training is desirable.
