Baker Petrolite, a division of BHI is currently seeking a Technician III for our Deer Park TX facility. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, conducts routine chemical, physical or electrical analyses by running tests or troubleshooting processes or procedures in support of R&D, QA, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. High School Diploma or equivalent or specialized vocational training with 3+ years experience or Associates Degree with 1+ years experience. BHI is an EEO employer.
Works independently at times and works within a team to complete projects.
Assists senior personnel in compiling, analyzing and interpreting results for internal/external customers. Communicates results to supervisor in detailed manner.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong communiction skills (oral and written)
Ability to run appropriate tests.
Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills
Strong analtyical and problem solving skills
background in chemistry, electronics and testing desired
