| Baker Hughes INTEQ has an immediate opening for a Technology Manager in the Wireline Open Hole group located at 2001 Rankin Rd.
Participates in the analysis of research and development efforts of the area. Develops and evaluates plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by the department. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposals. Oversees the execution of projects. Ultimately responsible for meeting objectives within the assigned areas of responsibility. Plans and conducts research, develops and executes phases of larger projects or a total project of moderate complexity. Participates in vendor interface. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Reviews progress and evaluates results. May supervise personnel. Works closely with sales to help support customers needs. Works with some latitude in making autonomous decisions. Participates in customer interface. May be responsible for a single product line or process. Handles special projects, as assigned.Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of systems applications. Good leadership/management skills. May be first time Manager of Technology, Engineering or R&D.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or Earth Sciences. 5+ years related experience.
Additional Requirements:
-MSME preferred
-Experienced downhole oil field tool designer, 5 years minimum, 10 years preferred
-Knowledge of Atlas (or similar) wireline tools
-Expertise with Solid Works
-Materials and failure analysis background
-Manufacturing process experience
-Experience with pressure housing design, seals, mechanical packaging
